Directional drill is a trench less construction method that installs pipelines of various sizes and materials below the ground surface. It is used to install cables and pipelines for gas, telecommunications, power, sewer, oil and water lines underneath watercourses and roads. It can be broken down into three main groups; Oilfield Directional Drilling, Utility Installation Directional Drilling (commonly known as H.D.D./Horizontal Directional Drilling/Directional boring) and in-seam directional drilling (Coal-Bed methane).

This machine offers 12,500 lbs. of thrust and pullback; the 300CM delivers outstanding performance in a compact, operator-friendly package. It can be drill up to 4,500 feet. It features a dual rack and pinion carriage drive, an enclosed mud pump, 47-gpm onboard fluid pump, two-speed floating carriage, new LCD screen at the operator's station, and single, multi-function joystick controls.
