Excavators are a type of heavy equipment that is commonly used in relation to larger projects, such as construction. It is also called a 360-degree excavator or digger. All excavators are designed to move large amounts of soil and earth in a minimal amount of time.

Excavators use large machinery with hinge metal buckets, which are often attached to hydraulic arms, while using the equipment to move heavy or bulky quantities of soil or earth. Excavators are usually employed together with loaders and bulldozers.
Excavators are used in many conditions: Digging of trenches, lying pipes, holes, foundations, Demolition, Mining, and River dredging. Its often have attachments include jackhammers (breakers), shovels, grapples, augers, etc

· Large Excavator
The Mini Excavator are also called a smaller-excavator or compact excavator. Smaller excavators have a small backfill (or dozer-) blade. and Mini Excavators are used for smaller projects. Mini excavators are most often found at work at construction sites in densely populated urban areas. Mini excavators are maneuverable and easy to operate.
The Large excavators, also called wheel excavator, are useful for digging foundations and other huge projects, but many times you need a smaller excavator to handle more delicate jobs. The design of this excavator is the same as the mini excavator, in that it has an arm that can be maneuvered to work heavy material, as well as a control booth from which to be operated in.
Today, there are several Excavators manufacturers include Hitachi Construction Machinery, Hyundai Heavy Industries, John Deere, Komatsu, Liebherr, Mustang, Volvo Construction Equipment, Hydrema, and Caterpillar Inc.
