The Scrapers are the full load sensing system serving the prioritized steering, scraper and brake functions. In the Scrapers there is a ground-driven, load sensing emergency steering pump is integrated into the main system and also has load sensing piston. The blade of the machines can be bolted on with a flat bottom for smooth cuts and fills, or bolted with the center bit dropped down for easier loading. The hydraulic control valves are used to operate the basic scraper. The radiator has 9 fins per inch to increase space and reduce clogging in severe applications. These types of scrapers predate the self-propelled scraper when enormous scrapers were pulled by crawler tractors.
The Scrapers are very efficient on small hauls where the cut and fill areas are close jointly and have enough length to fill up the hopper. The cab improvements include a single lever control for the bowl. The engine of the machines has a heaped capacity of 44 cubic yards and a rated load of 104,058 pounds. They are working with materials that are soft or loose, materials such as coal or when grooming fill material for new road construction.
