The Sandblast Machine is the textile machine that cleans and surface finishes through sandblasting. Blasting is used for finishing, surface texturing, roughening, frosting / etching, degreasing, deburring, deflashing, descaling, stripping coatings, and surface preparation of products made of metal, wood, plastic, glass or other materials.

Sandblasting uses abrasive grain to roughen, smooth, shape or clean surfaces. In sand blasting, sharp-edged particles are propelled by air, water or a blast wheel to remove rust, mill scale, paint or contaminants from surface materials.

The machine can complete the cleaning of the rough surface, oxide skin, residual salinity, burr of cast or forged work-piece, welding piece, heat-treated work-piece, punched or pressed work-piece and some mechanical processed pieces, and it can also applied for pre-processing before spray-coating, electroplating, etc.

The material used for Sandblasting was sand that had been sieved to a uniform size. Other materials for sandblasting have been developed to be used glass beads (bead blasting), metal pellets, dry ice, garnet, powdered abrasives of various fineness, powdered slag, and even ground coconut shells or corncobs have been used for specific applications and produce distinct surface finishes.
