The purpose of singeing is to reduce the hairiness of a staple fibre or twisted yarn and at the same time equalize the residual hairiness. It can be used in the process of cotton, chemical fiber, blending and knitting fabrics.

Singeing Machines are designed to obtain different singeing effects such as hard singeing –medium singeing – soft singeing to suit all kinds of fabric processing. Singeing is normally applied after twisting and before the next processing stages, such as dyeing or mercerizing.

Singeing machines are equipped with adjustable Contact, Four Roller cleaning device, with 2 HP AC Motor directly connected to two brush rollers.
